Emma Watkins

Emma is an undergraduate sophomore at Mount Holyoke College where she is pursuing a double major in English and Critical Social Thought. She joined the LWT team in June 2020 as the Midwest Regional Director, but is now serving as the Director of Legislative Affairs. Originally from Oklahoma, Emma is passionate about grassroots organizing, advocating for public schools, and advocating for reproductive justice, especially in rural communities. At Mount Holyoke, Emma is a co-founder of MHC Votes!, an organization that focuses on making voting accessible and empowering for all eligible voters. In her free time, Emma enjoys reading, drinking coffee, and watching overly dramatic period films.
