Ellie Shull

Ellie is currently a senior undergrad at the University of Washington studying Law, Societies and Justice, and in addition studying a minor in Political Science and Information Systems. She recently interned at Pfizer as a Legal Assistant to the Pro Bono Administration and worked as a File Clerk for a small law firm in her hometown of Seattle, Washington. Ellie hopes to one day go to law school to become an attorney that works on the behalf of the wrongfully convicted. In July of 2019, she went on a study abroad trip to Cape Town, South Africa with her Law, Societies and Justice colleagues where they completed a comparative criminal justice system study. Topic covered includes youth and gang violence, juvenile reform, racial divides, poverty, prison reform, urban peripheries, policing, gender based violence and state capture. Ellie is passionate about the LWT mission and proud to begin working with such amazing and strong women to create equality for women in politics. In Ellie's free time she loves spending time hiking and kayaking with her dogs, attending hot yoga classes, and catching up on the newest political tv shows.
